The first crucial step is selecting the right fabric for the situation using our excellent fabric library which includes many designer ranges. We also have an established sampling department and can source particular fabric designs that you may have in mind, no matter how individual Cut lengths of all our fabrics are available by the metre Whether selection is made from our library or you provide your own fabric, we offer a home consultancy service including detailed measuring and site survey; we are also happy to undertake orders where measurements are supplied by the client Clients receive an itemised specification of their order giving full details of work to be undertaken, together with a breakdown of the cost Throughout the order, liaison is maintained with the client Every order receives individual attention; all curtains and soft furnishings are handmade to the highest specification by our experienced makers. We specialise in all types of bespoke curtain headings, for example classics such as triple pleat, goblet, cartridge, box pleat or for a more sleek and contemporary appearance, metal eyelets. Trimmings and special finishes are becoming more popular and extravagant and a wide selection is available. Tiebacks, tassels, cords and braid are now available in all shades and colour combinations utilising beads, silks, leather and suede to create an amazing finishing touch to any soft furnishings Artisan is skilled in providing curtains for unusual windows â€“ we love a challenge! All shapes of window can be dressed to maximum effect be it apex, portholes, triangular or difficult bay windows.
